To use Hot Air Balloons to provide a visual display of aerostation and bring joy to those witnessing the balloons in flight and on the ground.  Provide an opportunity for the Balloonists in Albuquerque and around the World to say THANK YOU to Front-line Workers who exhibited steadfast determination to help where help was needed.  In addition, the Albuquerque ascensions will promote the City and the State of New Mexico, while lifting the spirits of all that enjoy balloons over Albuquerque in October.

 

Hot Air Balloons will launch in various locations on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th.  Photos and videos of ascensions will be shared through social media in an effort to connect all the balloon ascensions around the world.

 

Balloon Clubs in the USA and around the World will be encouraged to participate during these two days by organizing their own Lifting Spirits ascension in honor of their local Front-line Workers.
